We are always looking for ways on how to improve. If they relocate the control buttons, make them larger, and get input from users in advance (or use the program a while themselves before releasing it), they'll get my 5-star rating. There still is the design issue with the location of control buttons and bugginess at times with the operation of the app, but due to their efforts (including the restoration of the “skip” forward button), I’ve revised my 1-star rating to a 4-star. Ok, this last version fixed most of the issues. They even took away the fast-forward “skip” button. This occurred for a few versions after that. Then the developers re-designed the app and it performed absolutely horribly (no sugar-coating it- it was BAD!). I have given 5-star ratings for most versions of the app, including up to the Fall of 2019. Sling Adapter functionality is not supported. Select recordings are not available to transfer due to programming restrictions. Your mobile device must be connected to the same home network as the Hopper2 or Hopper 3 to transfer a recording and you must maintain an active DISH account to view transferred recordings.
